Tim is a seasoned industry leader dedicated to making a real difference in our nation’s health care system by strengthening the quality, value, and impact of home care, palliative care, and hospice. Tim is chief clinical officer of WellSky and president of Fazzi Associates, a WellSky company. As president of Fazzi Associates, he leads the company’s efforts to help agencies across the country to improve quality, profitability, efficiency, and patient and family satisfaction. As CCO of WellSky, Tim ensures that clinical imperatives, including the insights of frontline practitioners, are incorporated into the solutions developed for all WellSky clients. His extensive career and expertise has included a unique blend of clinical, operational, fiscal, and academic roles. Tim is a frequent presenter at national and state conferences and is often asked to contribute to industry forums. Prior to joining Fazzi Associates and WellSky, Tim was vice president of clinical operations for Visiting Nurse Service of Rochester & Monroe County in New York. He was also an assistant professor at the University of Rochester School of Nursing. He earned his Master of Business Administration and Master of Science from the University of Rochester, a Bachelor of Skilled Nursing from St. John Fisher College, and a Bachelor of Science in biology from Nazareth College.
Jami is the Chief Information Officer at Fazzi. Prior to working at Fazzi, he worked as the Senior Implementation Manager at OneShield, a leading enterprise applications vendor serving insurance carriers, and the Director of Engineering at MetaComet Systems, an independent software vendor providing royalty accounting subledger solutions. Having spearheaded the development of Fazzi’s Interactive Web Reporting, Jami is focused on innovation and invention as he works to move Fazzi to the next level.
Cindy Campbell is a nationally recognized leader, speaker and management consultant to the full continuum of healthcare at home. Cindy leads a team of executives who conduct organizational design, operational improvement and clinical model advancement for home health, hospice, advanced illness management and private duty organizations throughout the United States. She holds a proven track record of improving clinical and financial outcomes while increasing employee engagement. Cindy directs Fazzi’s operational consulting and the Fazzi total management system, teaching executives and managers functional management methodology, targeted to the continuum of care at home. Cindy is a passionate advocate for advancing practice through innovation, increasing the integration of technology into operations and clinical practice. Cindy is a past Board Member of the National Association for Homecare & Hospice, chaired the Pediatric Homecare & Hospice Association of America and sat on the American Telemedicine Association’s Executive Committee-Homecare and Remote Monitoring Special Interest Group.
Catherine is the Director of Hospice and Palliative Care Services at Fazzi Associates. She is a senior leader in our industry having run multi-service line, multi-location continuum of home health and hospice agencies including founding, growing, optimizing and ultimately selling a large hospice organization in Louisiana. Her work, specifically, focuses on educational development, optimizing organizational design, operational efficiency, advanced clinical modeling and quality improvement programs, and assisting organizations in achieving best practice clinical and financial performance. As a hospice and palliative care certified nurse and certified hospice case manager, Catherine reaches into the hospice philosophy integrating a strong set of core values focused on the people and agencies we serve.
Lindsay is the Director of Education at Fazzi. In her role, Lindsay manages Fazzi’s Distance Learning programs, including the Fazzi Learning Center, and OASIS Skills Testing, the largest OASIS testing service in the nation. Prior to working at Fazzi, Lindsay managed the Online and International Programs for the University of Massachusetts Amherst and also worked as a marketing consultant for the tourism board in Bessines, France.
Peter Emmott is Fazzi’s Vice President of Business Development. Peter is responsible for account management and business development working closely with agencies to deliver highly valuable partnerships in using Fazzi’s many services to improve quality, profitability, efficiency and patient and family satisfaction. He is a seasoned leader in the healthcare at home industry with nearly 25 years of experience in working with C-Level leaders of Home Health and Hospice agencies with expertise in the systems, processes and revenue cycle. Prior to joining Fazzi, Peter was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for McKesson Provider Technologies’ (now Change Healthcare) Home Health and Hospice business unit.
In Gina’s role at Fazzi, she is responsible for the operational consulting and regulatory and compliance services. She manages one of the largest OASIS and compliance groups in the country, has spearheaded a number of Fazzi’s national best practice initiatives, serves as the clinical expert on Fazzi’s National State of the Industry Study, has published white papers on the realities and implications of regulations on service delivery and, has served as the clinical content expert for Fazzi’s presentations in VBP states and now, PDGM. Gina is a national speaker with depth of knowledge and real-world experience on the current issues facing our industry. She combines strong clinical and regulatory expertise with the realities of being a senior executive in both free standing and hospital-based agencies.
Diane is Fazzi’s Director of Revenue Cycle & International Services and a member of our firm’s senior leadership team. She is a seasoned home care and hospice executive with expertise in accounting, finance, operations, software development, informatics and education. She has more than 20 years of experience in our industry having served as a CFO, COO, Manager of Clinical Informatics and software analyst. A dedicated advocate for our industry, she has served as Treasurer for the Hospice and Palliative Federation of Massachusetts and on committees for the Home Care Alliance of Massachusetts and the National Association for Home Care and Hospice Home Health Financial Managers Association. She is a frequent speaker at both national and state associations.
As Senior Compliance Consultant, Anita Werner is widely known as an OASIS expert, instructor, enthusiast, devotee, coach and mentor. She has over 30 years of nursing experience and over 20 in home care. Prior to joining Fazzi, she ran a successful consulting practice providing agencies with advisory services, education, clinical direction, audits and reviews in several critical areas. In addition to OASIS, she is also a recognized expert in coding, quality and compliance. A frequent presenter at state and national conferences, she is appreciated far and wide for her ability to make complex concepts and regulations real and understandable.
Lisa is the Director of Coding Education and AHIMA Certified ICD-10 Trainer at Fazzi. She has had progressive experience in home health care organizations since 1982 in various roles from clinician to executive director. Her executive experience includes responsibilities for agency operations, intake, professional services, performance improvement, policies and procedures, and compliance with third party reimbursement.
Lisa has over twenty years of consulting experience including strategic planning, organizational and operational design, workflow analysis, interim management and staff development. She has extensive experience in quality management including OASIS, billing and coding audits, reimbursement management and regulatory compliance.
Lisa has worked with Fazzi as an OASIS and Coding auditor since 2003 specializing in ICD-10 coding compliance and education, and was instrumental in the development of one of today’s largest outsourced homecare coding companies. Speaking engagements include several State and National Associations.
