Tim is President of Fazzi Associates. A leader in the field of home care and hospice, Tim’s expertise and career has included a unique blend of clinical, operational, fiscal and academic roles. Tim is a frequent presenter at national and state conferences and is often asked to contribute to industry forums. Tim provides organizational, operational, turn around, and change management services to home care agencies across the country and is highly skilled at helping agencies to create real change and progress on their path to Triple Aim outcomes. He is also the Co-Director of the 2016-2017 National Home Care and Hospice State of the Industry Study. Prior to joining Fazzi, Tim was the Vice President of Clinical Operations for Visiting Nurse Service of Rochester & Monroe County in New York. He was also an Assistant Professor at the University of Rochester School of Nursing. He earned his MBA and MS from the University of Rochester and his BSN from St. John Fisher College.
Bob is the founder of Fazzi Associates, one of the oldest and largest home care and hospice consulting, training, outsourcing, benchmarking and research firms. Bob is a nationally recognized speaker, author, futurist and change expert. He is widely published in trade journals and the author of a number of books including Management Plus™, published by McGraw Hill and named a main selection on Fortune Magazine’s Book of the Month Club. He has been Director or Co-Director of many of Fazzi’s national studies including serving as lead researcher for Fazzi’s four best practice National State of the Home Care and Hospice Industry studies. He has provided organizational, planning and change services to home care agencies, hospices, associations and a broad range community based health care systems for over forty years. Most of all, Bob is zealous about making a real difference in health care by strengthening the quality, value and impact of home care, hospice and community based services.
Cindy Campbell is a nationally recognized leader, speaker and management consultant to the full continuum of healthcare at home. Cindy leads a team of executives who conduct organizational design, operational improvement and clinical model advancement for Home Health, Hospice, Advanced Illness Management and Private Duty organizations throughout the United States. She holds a proven track record of improving clinical and financial outcomes while increasing employee engagement. Cindy directs Fazzi’s Operational Consulting and the Fazzi Total Management System, teaching executives and managers functional management methodology, targeted to the continuum of care at home. Cindy is a passionate advocate for advancing practice through innovation, increasing the integration of technology into operations and clinical practice. Cindy is a past Board Member of the National Association for Homecare & Hospice, chaired the Pediatric Homecare & Hospice Association of America and sat on the American Telemedicine Association’s Executive Committee-Homecare and Remote Monitoring Special Interest Group.
Lindsay is the Director of Education at Fazzi. In her role, Lindsay manages Fazzi’s Distance Learning programs, including the Fazzi Learning Center, and OASIS Skills Testing, the largest OASIS testing service in the nation. Prior to working at Fazzi, Lindsay managed the Online and International Programs for the University of Massachusetts Amherst and also worked as a marketing consultant for the tourism board in Bessines, France.
Melanie is our Chief Clinical Executive for Outsourced Services. A long-time leader in our industry, Melanie is one of the nation’s foremost clinical experts in home health and hospice. Prior to joining Fazzi and building our Coding Operations, she previously served as a Clinician, Clinical Director, Administrator, Vice President of Operations, and Director of Financial and Clinical Operations. She has been a speaker in over 30 states on strategies for OASIS accuracy and success at the clinician practice level. As Chief Clinical Executive, “Mel” works closely with our outsourced services customers to improve outcomes, reimbursement, productivity and maximize the return on investment from our partnership.
Peter Emmott is Fazzi’s Vice President of Business Development. Peter is responsible for account management and business development working closely with agencies to deliver highly valuable partnerships in using Fazzi’s many services to improve quality, profitability, efficiency and patient and family satisfaction. He is a seasoned leader in the healthcare at home industry with nearly 25 years of experience in working with C-Level leaders of Home Health and Hospice agencies with expertise in the systems, processes and revenue cycle. Prior to joining Fazzi, Peter was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for McKesson Provider Technologies’ (now Change Healthcare) Home Health and Hospice business unit.
Jami is the Chief Information Officer at Fazzi. Prior to working at Fazzi, he worked as the Senior Implementation Manager at OneShield, a leading enterprise applications vendor serving insurance carriers, and the Director of Engineering at MetaComet Systems, an independent software vendor providing royalty accounting subledger solutions. Having spearheaded the development of Fazzi’s Interactive Web Reporting, Jami is focused on innovation and invention as he works to move Fazzi to the next level.
Eileen is Director of Fazzi’s Strategic Consulting Division. She is the past President and CEO of one of the largest home care agencies in the United States, the Boston VNA, has served as the CEO of a long term care continuum that included a major home health component, and the Vice President of Business Development of a start-up software company. During her 40 year career in home care, she has served on the boards of a variety of local and national health care organizations. Eileen’s division works with home health agencies on a variety of marketing, customer service, referral enhancement and interim management efforts.
Lynn is the Director of Development at Fazzi. Lynn manages the firm’s Business Intelligence Division where she directs research on health care statistics. She has served as the Project Coordinator for a number of Fazzi National Studies including the 3M National OASIS Integrity Project, the National Operational Benchmark Study, and the 2013 National State of the Home Care Industry Study. Lynn has CIP-I certification.
Gina is the Director of Fazzi’s Regulatory and Compliance Division. She manages one of the largest OASIS and compliance groups in the country, has spearheaded a number of Fazzi’s national best practice initiatives, serves as the clinical expert on Fazzi’s National State of the Industry Study, has published white papers on the realities and implications of regulations on service delivery and has served as the clinical content expert for Fazzi’s presentations in VBP states. Gina combines strong clinical and regulatory expertise with the realities of being a senior executive in both free standing and hospital based agencies. As part of her responsibilities at Fazzi, she serves as the Director of Fazzi’s Home Health and Hospice CAHPS Programs as well as Fazzi’s OASIS and compliance auditing and agency-wide QAPI Program services.
Kelly Murphy-Miller is the Director of Coding Operations at Fazzi Associates and is the Operational leader for our coding department. Kelly is the programming creator of the Coding Dashboard, a QuickBase application that controls the workflow for all coding Clients. Kelly serves on several company committees to drive growth and change at Fazzi, with a focus on security, innovation and operational efficiency.
Diane is Fazzi’s Director of Strategic Initiatives and a member of our firm’s senior leadership team. She is a seasoned home care and hospice executive with expertise in accounting, finance, operations, software development, informatics and education. She has more than 20 years of experience in our industry having served at the senior leadership level at Baystate VNA & Hospice, Holyoke Visiting Nurse Association and at Suncoast Solutions. A dedicated advocate for our industry, she has served as Treasurer for the Hospice and Palliative Federation of Massachusetts and on committees for the Home Care Alliance of Massachusetts and the National Association for Home Care and Hospice Home Health Financial Managers Association. She is a frequent speaker at both national and state associations.
Kerry is our Director of Coding Quality and is a leader in quality management with extensive experience with OASIS and coding audits, reimbursement management and regulatory compliance. She is an AHIMA Certified Trainer and holds the COS-C and BCHH-C credentials. Additionally, as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), Kerry’s knowledge of physical therapy and many years of direct clinical experience provides tremendous insight to her position for the benefit of our clients.
As Director of Sales and Marketing, Janet is responsible for helping agencies learn how Fazzi can help them by providing valuable information and through consultative relationship development. Her three decades of experience in marketing, sales, and product development have included serving as vice president of marketing at Monson Savings Bank; president of her own marketing practice, MarCom Capital; and second vice president of market development at Phoenix Home Life. An active contributor to the community, she is a member of the Board of Directors for the Center for EcoTechnology, past president of the Greater Northampton Chamber of Commerce and has served on the starter board of the Hampshire County Regional Chamber, the Hampshire County Tourism Advisory Council, and on the board of directors of United Way of Hampshire County.
As Senior Compliance Consultant, Anita Werner is widely known as an OASIS expert, instructor, enthusiast, devotee, coach and mentor. She has over 30 years of nursing experience and over 20 in home care. Prior to joining Fazzi, she ran a successful consulting practice providing agencies with advisory services, education, clinical direction, audits and reviews in several critical areas. In addition to OASIS, she is also a recognized expert in coding, quality and compliance. A frequent presenter at state and national conferences, she is appreciated far and wide for her ability to make complex concepts and regulations real and understandable.
Lisa is Fazzi’s Director of Coding Education and is also an AHIMA certified ICD-10-CM trainer. With over 15 years home health coding experience, Lisa brings a breadth of knowledge to her trainings. Lisa has had progressive experience in home health organizations for over 30 years and over sixteen years of experience in consulting such topics as strategic planning, organizational and operational design, workflow analysis, interim management and staff development. She has received a certificate for Home Care Coding Specialist-Diagnosis from the Board of Advanced Medical Coding and has made numerous presentations on Diagnostic Coding throughout the US.
