The 2013 National State of the Home Care Industry Study was the largest study in the history of home health and hospice designed to provide agency leaders with insights on industry best practices in three key areas:
- Telehealth/remote patient monitoring
- Organizational practices
The goal of the State of the Home Care and Hospice Industry Study was to provide agency leaders with insights on industry trends and best practices for the future. The focus of the study was on the present and future use in the key areas of information technology, telehealth, electronic health records, operational practices, and an array of other issues all related to the future survival and viability of agencies. The study also included insights into strategies used by agencies that are now participating with ACOs and other health reform models.
