Interim Managers
Fazzi Associates is recruiting experienced home health executives to fill Interim Management positions across the country. Interim Managers provide leadership to agencies with a temporary vacancy - usually in Executive Director, President, Administrator, VP, or Director level (including Operations, Clinical Services, Quality, Finance, and others) roles. Positions may be as short as one month or longer than six months. We have opportunities for those with or without a clinical degree. A successful track record as a home health or hospice executive with at least five years of management experience at a senior level in home health or hospice is required. Those without home health or hospice experience need not apply.

Coding Specialists
The Coding Specialist provides home health coding support to selected agencies, reviews OASIS, and assigns accurate codes that are supported by documentation. Fazzi core work hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a 40 hour workweek. This full-time position’s day schedule may fluctuate day/evening with some weekend/holiday coverage required to meet client contractual requirements.
This position requires the ability to make independent decisions regarding accurate ICD-9/10-CM code assignments. The coding decision will play a key role in determining the reimbursement potential home care agencies and adherence to coding compliance regulations and Fazzi policies developed to ensure accurate billing.
This position requires Certification of Home Health Coder and a minimum of a high school diploma. Fluency in English is required for both verbal and written communication. A thorough knowledge of the related prospective payment system (PPS), and an understanding of coding practices and official guidelines is needed. A broad knowledge of pharmacology indications for drug usage and related adverse reactions, as well as knowledge of anatomy, physiology, disease processes and medical terminology are highly preferred.
