What is OASIS NP?

OASIS NP© is the process for achieving and maintaining OASIS competency as defined by CMS interpretations.

OASIS NP is a low cost, high impact, computerized, non-perishable training tool for agency clinicians. This user friendly, easy to use tool ensures that clinicians are updated, confident, and proficient in performing the OASIS assessment. It only requires basic Microsoft Office software and internet access.

In use in over 1,000 agencies, the OASIS NP model provides all of the benefits of traditional seminars, plus the economy and flexibility of an online course. A site license provides your agency with the tools, technology, and training needed to ensure clinicians know how to perform a quality assessment. Training and testing are provided at the clinician level and competency feedback at the executive level. Training-the-trainers on the use and implementation of the OASIS NP product is immediate.

What is Included in a Subscription?

Home health agencies that purchase the OASIS NP Subscription will receive an electronic in-service each month. This complete scenario-based in-service will consist of:

  • New video scenario posted to Fazzi's OASIS NP Members Only Resource Page by 10am EST on the second Wednesday of every month.
  • Unlimited online OASIS item quizzing with automatic grading as well as a summary score report emailed to the clinician. 
  • Rationale video with an OASIS expert reviewing each item scored.
  • Subscribers will have unlimited access to the NP Member Resources Page for a 12 month period.  The subscription, like the original tool, will be transferable to all managers and clinicians. 

Note: To ensure that our trainings include the most current information, we will keep up to three months of training sessions on our NP Member Resources page at a time.
