Fazzi's Directors and Consultants bring far more than a wealth of experiences, they are national leaders who have successfully run major organizations throughout the country. These are leaders who have dedicated their professional lives to improving the agencies that provide services to patients throughout the country.
Jami is the Chief Information Officer at Fazzi. Prior to working at Fazzi, Jami worked as the Senior Implementation Manager at OneShield, a leading enterprise applications vendor serving insurance carriers, and the Director of Engineering at MetaComet Systems, an independent software vendor providing royalty accounting subledger solutions. Having spearheaded the development of Fazzi's Interactive Web Reporting, Jami is focused on innovation and invention as he works to move Fazzi to the next level.
Tim Ashe, MS, MBA
Tim is a Partner and Director of Operational Consulting at Fazzi. Tim brings in-depth, practical understanding of home care and health care having served in key clinical and senior administrative roles, most recently as the Vice President of Clinical Operations for Visiting Nurse Service of Rochester & Monroe County in New York. Tim provides organizational, operational, turn around, and change management services to home care agencies across the country.
Cynthia Campbell, RN, BS
Cindy is the Associate Director of Operational Consulting at Fazzi. She is a home health advocate at state and federal levels; past NAHC Board Member and Chair of the Pediatric Home Care Association of America, past Executive Committee Member for the American Telemedicine Association's Special Interest Group: Home Telehealth and Remote Monitoring. She is a highly skilled executive change agent and has provided effective organizational assessment, redesign and change management to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in a variety of home health settings throughout the country.
Lindsay Doak, MBA
Lindsay is the Director of Marketing and Education at Fazzi. In her role, Lindsay manages Fazzi's Marketing and Distance Learning programs, including Fazzi's Online Academy and Fazzi's OASIS Testing, the largest OASIS testing service in the nation. Prior to working at Fazzi, Lindsay managed the Online and International Programs for the University of Massachusetts Amherst and also worked as a marketing consultant for the tourism board in Bessines, France.
Melanie Duerr, RN, MS, ANP, BCHH-C
Melanie is a Partner and Director of Coding Operations for Fazzi and an AHIMA ICD-10 Certified Trainer. Her experience in home care includes both certified home care and hospice as a Clinician, Clinical Director, Administrator, Vice President of Operations and as a Director of Financial and Clinical Operations. She has been a speaker in over 30 states on strategies for OASIS accuracy and success at the clinician practice level.
Jean Ellis RN
Jean is the Senior Consultant of National Projects at Fazzi. Her broad range of home healthcare experience includes operations and sales in both non-profit and proprietary Medicare certified agencies as well as consulting for home health telemonitoring programs. During her ten-year tenure at the Visiting Nurse Associations of America (VNAA) as Vice President of Operations & Administration, Jean developed and implemented a number of business development, education, and public relations campaigns to be used by member VNAs in their local markets.
Dr. Robert Fazzi
Bob is the founder and Managing Partner of Fazzi. Bob is a nationally recognized speaker, author, futurist and change expert. He is widely published in trade journals and is the author of a number of books including Management Plus™, a book on supervisory management published by McGraw Hill and named as a main selection on Fortune Magazine’s Book of the Month Club. He has been Director or Co-Director of many of Fazzi's national studies and research projects and has provided organizational, planning and change services to hospital and home care agencies and associations in nearly forty states.
Eileen Freitag, MBA
Eileen is a Partner and Director of Fazzi's Strategic Consulting Division. She is the past President and CEO of one of the largest home care agencies in the United States, the Boston VNA, has served as the CEO of a long term care continuum that included a major home health component, and the Vice President of Business Development of a start-up software company. During her 27 year career in home care, she has served on the boards of a variety of local and national health care organizations. Eileen's division works with home health agencies on a variety of marketing, customer service, referral enhancement and interim management efforts.
Lynn is a Partner and the Director of Development at Fazzi. Lynn manages the firm's Business Intelligence Division where she directs research on health care statistics. She has served as the Project Coordinator for a number of Fazzi National Studies including the 3M National OASIS Integrity Project, the National Operational Benchmark Study, and the 2013 National State of the Home Care Industry Study.
Gina Mazza, RN, BSN
Gina is a Partner and the Director of Fazzi's National Patient Satisfaction Benchmark Service(HHCAHPS) and the Executive Manager, Fazzi's national operational, financial, and quality best practice service. She has previously served in a number of senior level positions ranging from Clinical Director to QI/PI Director to Program Manager in two of the largest hospital based home care agencies in Massachusetts.
Mary St. Pierre RN, BSN, MCA
Mary, an industry icon, has worked in the home care and hospice industry for over 46 years as a home care nurse, supervisor, manager, and, most recently, as Vice President of Regulatory Affairs at NAHC. Her precise grasp of regulations, understanding of CMS policy, and RHHI (MAC) processes combined with her desire to to bring the spirit of caring and compassion to home care make her not only one of the most knowledgeable people in the industry, but also an exceptional human being. Her work has truly helped thousands of home care and hospice agencies across the country deliver the best care possible to their patients. And now Mary will be continuing with these efforts through in partnership with Fazzi.
Kay Wright, RN, MBA
Kay is a Partner and the Director of Fazzi's Competency Institute, a division dedicated to improving the accuracy of agency OASIS assessments and their quality outcomes. She has served as President of a number of freestanding and hospital-based organizations including one of New England's largest home care agencies. Kay has served on a number of national Boards and has directly provided operational review services to agencies throughout the country. She is recognized as one of home care's premier experts on operations and effective quality and financial management.
