Achieve Best Practice Status

BestWorks relies on a nationally tested survey, national research projects, industry experts and ongoing studies to provide the most current and effective best practice strategies to help agencies reach best practice status in both profit and quality.

BestWorks service supports each agency by providing:

• Consultation: Dedicated one-on-one session with the Fazzi Associates consultant to analyze the report findings and identify strategies leading to best practice status.

• Reports: Comprehensive reports that compare each subscriber agency’s operational and financial performance against national norms and best practice agencies. Best practice areas include, but are not limited to: finance, staffing ratios, visit utilization, quality outcomes, technology and hospice.

• Insider Studies: Information provided to BestWorks subscribers only. The studies provide subscriber agencies with new information based on research conducted within the BestWorks database and/or Fazzi Associates.

• Best Practice Trainings: Private and complimentary trainings focused on key areas of the home health agency: profit, quality, service and growth.

• Profit/Quality Monitor: Individualized quarterly report focused on profit margin and quality outcome results. The Profit/Quality Monitor is intended to identify strengths and weaknesses in reaching best practice status in a P4P environment.

• Web Reporting: This is a password-protected database where BestWorks subscribers can access industry benchmarks and run in-depth analyses to determine the effect of specific practices on quality and financial results.

McKesson has developed a data extraction report available to BestWorks subscribers and McKesson users. This report provides you with the data needed for your BestWorks survey regarding: Medicare eposide, financial data, census data, and clinical time and travel.
