OASIS-C The Care Connection
Program Synopsis
After a year of using the OASIS-C data items, the popular Care Connection has been redone to include the most current information provided by CMS in Q&As and in the OASIS Manual revision through December 2010. Cindy Krafft and Rhonda Will, two nationally recognized OASIS experts, provide content based on their experience of what clinicians are struggling with after working with agencies and home care associations across the US in 2010. The functional assessment and integumentary data items are improved and much easier to understand. The Care Connection still provides item by item content and includes tips and best practices on how to use the data to enhance care planning and patient care.
This on-demand video training is perfect to incorporate into your agency’s orientation program for new clinicians regardless of their previous experience. It’s important that all clinicians are consistent in their approach to OASIS completion as accuracy drives your patient’s plan of care, your quality and financial outcomes.
Just over five hours in length, this video can be accessed anytime from anywhere and is separated into nine logical segments that include self checks to keep the viewer engaged.
